Making a banner usually takes a photo editor and half a day. Here you drop your product photo: the module cuts it out, places it, sizes it and fills the background. The eyebrow, the headline and the button stay real text, laid over the picture — readable on a phone, translatable, and read by Google.

It builds the image for you

You drop the photo straight from the camera. The module cuts it out, positions it, scales it and fills the background with the colour you chose. You need no photo editor, and your banners finally look like each other.

It keeps your original composition on the server: you can reopen a banner months later and adjust it, without starting again.

Text stays text

This is what sets it apart from ordinary sliders. The eyebrow, the headline and the button are not baked into the image: they are real text laid over it. They stay readable on a phone, they can be translated, and Google reads them.

If a headline is too long for the space, the module shrinks the text gradually rather than letting it overflow — down to 65% of its size, and no further.

Five image widths, plus a fallback

Each banner is produced in five widths in WebP, plus a 1600-pixel JPEG for the rare browsers that do not understand WebP. A visitor on a phone downloads the phone image, not the desktop one.

On a phone, it changes layout

Below 768 pixels wide, the text moves below the image instead of sitting on it: a banner is too flat to carry readable text on a phone screen. This is not shrinking, it is a different layout.

It behaves well

Automatic scrolling, arrows left and right, round dots to jump straight to a slide.
Swipe on a phone, keyboard arrows on a computer.
Pause on mouse hover, pause when the visitor navigates the banner by keyboard, pause when the tab goes to the background.
It respects the visitor’s « reduce motion » system setting: in that case nothing scrolls on its own.
If JavaScript is missing, the first slide stays displayed and readable.

It touches only the home page

No other page of your shop loads a single file from this module. No stylesheet, no script, no image. That is a speed guarantee for the whole rest of the site.

It takes over from the old slider

If you were using PrestaShop’s own slider, the module can import its slides. You do not start your work again.

In your languages

Every text is translated language by language, and the link can differ from one language to another. Text is cleaned when saved: tags, forced line breaks and multiple spaces are removed.
