Product Watch — Product views and cart tracking
Finally know which products your customers actually look at, add to their cart, and never buy. Product Watch counts every product's views and cart additions, without ever losing those figures when abandoned carts are cleaned up, works out their conversion rate, and shows it all, in a dedicated screen as well as directly in your product list.
You guess what works. It knows.
Which products are actually looked at? Which ones end up in a cart and are never bought? Without these figures, you guess, you trust your instinct, or you look only at what has already sold. Product Watch counts, for every product, its views and its cart additions, and works out a real conversion rate from them — from your actual orders, not an estimate.
Figures that never disappear
Most shops regularly clean up abandoned carts. That's good practice — but it wipes out any trace of what was added to a cart along the way. Product Watch counts cart additions separately, in its own counter, never touched by that clean-up: the figure shown today really is the figure since forever, not since the last clean-up.
Conversion rate, without guesswork
No rough formula: every product's conversion rate is worked out from your actually validated orders. A product viewed ten times and bought once shows 10%. A product never viewed shows nothing rather than a made-up number.
Products viewed, never bought
One button filters the list down to products that have already been looked at, but have not yet led to a single sale. These are often the most natural candidates for a second look: a price to revisit, a photo to change, a description to sharpen.
A dedicated screen, or right in your catalog
A new screen, Catalog → Product tracking, brings together the overall figures, a 30-day chart, the full sortable and filterable list, and a CSV export. And if you'd rather keep everything in one glance, three optional columns — Views, Carts, Conversion — are added directly to your usual Catalog → Products list, wherever you choose to place them.
Your columns, your width
A reference that's too long and crushes the rest of the row, a price column too tight: give any column of the Catalog → Products list — the module's own three, but also Name, Reference, Category, Price, Quantity — a width in pixels. On a narrow screen, two scroll buttons stay on screen to reach the columns that overflow.
What it does not do
It does not guess anything: without an active licence, nothing is counted, and it does not stay half-active.
The columns in Catalog → Products require PrestaShop 8.0 or newer. On an earlier version, they are simply absent — nothing breaks.
It does not change your prices, your product pages or your orders: it watches and it counts, nothing more.
Installation
Upload, install, paste your licence key. Counting starts right away, with nothing else to set up. A complete manual, in French and English, comes with the module.
