A shop can work perfectly while being wide open: a known vulnerability in a module, an old backup file forgotten at the root, debug mode left on, a certificate expiring next week. Hacking bots look for all of this constantly. Vigie finds it before they do.

Security, emails, server, speed, installed modules and SEO: Vigie scans your shop in a few minutes and gives it a health score out of 100. Each problem is ranked (critical, high, medium, low) and explained without jargon: what it is, why it matters, and what to do.

Known vulnerabilities, kept up to date

Vigie compares your PrestaShop version, each of your modules — even those uninstalled but still on the server — and the PHP version itself with the public list of security vulnerabilities, kept up to date and fetched automatically every day. It also spots malicious code, scripts hidden in image folders and modified PrestaShop files, by comparing them with the official originals, and tells you about the latest maintenance release of your PrestaShop version.

Attacks on your login page

PrestaShop keeps no record of rejected logins. Vigie does: it spots the bots trying to guess your passwords, gives you their addresses to block, and flags any successful login from a never-seen address. Without ever recording a single password.

One-click fixes that never break anything

For some twenty common problems, Vigie offers a one-click fix. Never automatically: you read a warning, tick a confirmation box, Vigie backs up, then fixes. After any change to the .htaccess file, it immediately checks that the shop still responds. And every fix can be undone in one click: everything goes back exactly as it was.

Monitoring that works for you

Schedule a weekly scan: Vigie emails you a summary, only when a new problem appears if you wish. The history keeps every scan, and each report can be downloaded as a PDF, to keep or send to your developer. And when an FFSMC module solves a problem found for good, Vigie mentions it in one discreet line, which you can turn off.

What it does not do

• It changes nothing without your consent: a scan only reads.
• It does not promise the impossible: what has to be done at your host (certificate, DNS, PHP version) is explained step by step, not tinkered with.
• It does not slow the shop down: the scan proceeds in small steps and never blocks your visitors.

Compatibility

PrestaShop 1.7.0 to 9.x, PHP 5.6 to 8.4 — including the oldest shops, which often need it most. Interface in French and English. A full user guide, in French and English, comes with the module.
